Replacement of non-functional and non-aesthetic primary teeth by immediate implant placement.
( U-impl system, 2-stage protocol)
Case presentation.
A healthy 22-year-old patient presented with retained maxillary lateral incisors and canines bilaterally (without permanent successors). Patient was unhappy of their appearance because of their low aesthetic and functional properties.
Treatment plan: replacement of the retained teeth by dental implants placed into fresh extraction sockets.
Radiography before operation.
All of four Implants was 4 mm in diameter and 11.5 mm in length (U-impl, Switzerland)
Radiography after operation.
Photo (implants with a fixed prosthesis) 12 months after operation.
